Passion For Pasha

Tony Kitous, owner of successful restaurant's Levant and Levantine, is now applying his touch to Pasha in Gloucester Road, Kensington offering authentic Moroccan cuisine and warm hospitality.

No effort has been spared to provide a seductive and beautiful restaurant and lounge bar. With rich handmade fabrics characteristic of Moorish designs, creating a chic, elegant and glamorous Moroccan atmosphere. The kemia lounge is open all day offering light lunches, mint tea and homemade pastries.

There is also a private dining area offering an elegant backdrop for dinner parties. The restaurant has a number of small, sensual, cosy areas creating an intimate dining experience.

Chef David Jones has spent several months in Morocco cooking at the home of Evelyn Ben-Tolila, a close friend of Kitous, who is proud and honoured to have her family recipes brought to London. Among his many highlights at Pasha is a large selection of kemia - a choice of small dishes that include dips, savoury pastries, grilled meats and salads, incluing such classics as Zalouk, Saikk Zaitene and Briwal Lala Fatma.

Main course include Lamb Meshwi, a slow cooked shoulder of lamb with apricots, prunes, sultanas and figs or S'csou Laaroussa, whole stuffed poussin with cinnamon and almond couscous.

Pasha opened on 29th June for 80 diners in the restaurant and up to 50 in the lounge. The restaurant is managed by John Prunty and average dinner spend is £50 per head.
