Savour
the Last of the Summer Wine with New General Bilimoria Shiraz
Grenache Rosé
General
Bilimoria Wines, the range of premium house wines specially chosen by
Cobra Beer to complement spicy foods, has launched a Shiraz Grenache
Rosé to offer wine drinkers a taste of summer.
This French
2005 vintage comes from the sun-kissed vineyards of France's
world-renowned Languedoc region and is now available at fine Indian
restaurants throughout the UK.
The Shiraz
Grenache is a light and refreshing Rosé with aromas of red
berries and a shimmering, crisp finish. The Syrah grape gives the
wine its full-bodied flavour and spicy notes, while the Grenache
perfects the balance of the wine with youthful, elegant fruit. Served
chilled, this beautifully coloured Rosé makes an excellent
accompaniment to white meat or fish and complements the complex and
varied flavours of Indian cuisine particularly well. |
Lord Karan
Bilimoria, CBE DL, founder and Chief Executive of Cobra Beer,
commented: "We have chosen a crisp and refreshing Rosé,
making it ideal for this time of year and a perfect partner to spicy
food. Finding a top quality, eminently drinkable Rosé is a
great challenge, as far too often they tend to be too syrupy or too
harsh. Producing a balanced, smooth and delicious Rosé is a
challenge we are proud to have overcome, and with the wine's rapidly
growing popularity among consumers we have high expectations for the
success of the wine in restaurants."
