Eating out
in London can be costly, especially for students who have to watch
every penny. At Masala Zone restaurants (Soho, Islington and Earls
Court), students can feast on Thalis, Street Food, Noodle Bowls and
Curry & Rice from as little as £9 per person (including a
drink) all year long. Students will also receive 10% off their bill
when they show a valid NUS card.
Masala Zone
serves delicious authentic Indian home-style food. Emphasis is on a
contemporary dining experience with taste, price and quality of equal
importance. The canteen and booth style seating is ideal for groups
of all sizes and Islington's outside terrace is great for warm
Autumnal evenings. Groups of up to 20 can be catered for in a private
dining room in Islington.
Masala Zone's
Street Food utilises the freshest of foods from recipes that have
travelled down the generations of Indian street vendors. Burgers are
not a typical dish found on an Indian menu but the Masala Burger has
been made with much care and attention to offer an authentic spice
burger available in three varieties - lamb, chicken and vegetable -
each served with kachumber (chopped salad) and potato crisps.
The chefs of
Masala Zone have utilised their knowledge to create some extremely
tasty Noodle Bowls. It is not common knowledge but Chinese is the
most popular cuisine for eating out in India today. In fact the
Indianised Chinese is a spicy take on regular Chinese cuisine. Thalis
offer a complete meal on a plate with a range of sizes and dish
options, ideal for those who want a real feast for the senses. The
Curry & Rice plates have plenty of variety, from chicken to lamb,
prawn to vegetable. For vegetarians, there is plenty of choice from
all sections of the menu.
Food To Go is
fantastic for students who never have enough time in the day,
grabbing a quick bite in between lectures. Food to Go offers a great
selection of street food and curry and rice dishes. Masala Zone's
street menu is an ideal way to snack without filling stomachs with
unhealthy crisps and chocolate.
With the
addition of Delivery Service from the Soho and Earls Court branches,
students can enjoy the tasty dishes in the comfort of their
accommodation. Delivery is free for orders over £10 and covers
the majority of central and west London postcodes. 25% discount is
also available for delivery lunch orders over £40 and so a group
can order together and get even more value for money.
With many of
the ingredients and dishes changing everyday and NUS discount, Masala
Zone is a tasty choice for students in London. Economical pricing,
knowledgeable, friendly staff and alluring menus makes for a
welcoming destination for students again and again.
