Test Drive The Ultimate Cooking Machine

18th - 20th September 2006, London Olympia

If you want to test drive the ultimate cooking machine, make a beeline for the Rational stand, D38, at the Restaurant Show 2006.

The multi-award-winning SelfCooking Center is centre-stage, with cooking demonstrations throughout the day. Expert chefs will be preparing their favourite starters, entrees and sweets, both a la carte and for function catering. The demos' informal atmosphere is designed to encourage visitors to ask about every aspect of combi technology and the latest combi-cooking techniques.

Best of all, visitors can arrange to test drive a SelfCooking Center for themselves, at any one of over seventy venues throughout the UK and Ireland. These test drives aren't just a try-before-you-buy option, every restaurateur is welcome to come and put a Rational through its paces, or watch, 'trackside', as other chefs do.

Many of London's leading chefs will be at the Show, and most of them have a SelfCooking Center in their kitchen. Alan Bird, head chef at the Ivy, says of his Rationals: "We couldn't do without them. They give perfect results and they're failsafe." But as the chefs on the Rational stand will demonstrate, the SelfCooking Center is the ultimate cooking machine for every restaurant, whether Michelin-starred palace or high street coffee shop.

As an added incentive, every visitor to the stand can enter a prize draw to win a top quality set of Rational chef's knives - a 12-piece set, in a presentation case, manufactured in Germany and worth over £300.
