The book was released in May 2009 at the Sachivalaya - chief Ministers office .The Book is the second book by Monish Gujral (CMD Motimahal Chain of Restaurants ), Grand son of Kundan Lal Gujral who first introduced the restaurant tandoor in 1948 .Monish Gujral ,the author of the book , a graduate from Delhi University in business studies , studied hotel management from Pusa institute Delhi before joining his illustrious grand father at MotiMahal. Not only has Monish, kept his grandfathers legacy alive , he has expanded the brand and launched Motimahal Delux Tandoori Trail restaurants globally

The winner in each country will compete against winners in the same category in other countries for The Best in the World. The results will be announced on Thursday February 11, 2010 at Theatre Le 104 at the Paris Cookbook Fair.
