Last year, National BBQ reached over three quarters of the adult population and helped create 110 million BBQ occasions each year through its campaign. It is also credited by Mintel as being one of the driving forces in creating a £3 billion BBQ market in the UK. This year's theme is Gastro Alfresco, a sophisticated, stylish and chic evolution of BBQing. National BBQ Week marks the focal point for the Nation's BBQ celebrations, incorporating the Whit Bank Holiday.
