Giraffe Hosts 'G'Oscar' Ceremony For Staff

 
The award winning, family-friendly restaurant group Giraffe will host it's second annual 'G'oscar' ceremony on 10 May 2007 9am at their Spitalfields restaurant, Crispin Place E1 6DW with a champagne breakfast, bagels and bacon sandwiches.

The ceremony is held to recognise greatness amongst staff and to reward hard work and loyalty.

All 400 staff in all restaurants and the head office nominate in the 12 categories which include 'Best Manager', 'Best Newcomer' and 'Most Valuable Person in the Kitchen'

Luke Johnson, Chairman of giraffe and Channel 4, will attend the event and will present an award alongside investors from 3i.

Giraffe currently have 14 restaurants including 12 in London, Milton Keynes and Manchester. The next opening will be in Walton-on Thames in May, followed by the new Boardwalk development in Lakeside and High Street Guildford in June.

Additional openings in 2007 include Princesshay Exeter and a second restaurant in Manchester in the city centre, off Deansgate. Giraffe also have a Franchise in Heathrow airport T1 and this year will open a further three franchises in Stanstead Airport, Manchester Airport and will open the largest restaurant in Heathrow T5 in 2008
