acclaimed Mango Tree based in Belgravia will be hosting a variety of
events this April, making this Thai New Year - Songkran festival one
to remember.
Diners are in
for a real treat this year. Expect cooking demonstrations, Thai
dancers, fruit and vegetable sculpture demonstrations, cabaret and
special Thai face painting all whilst enjoying the fine a la carte
dining Mango Tree is renowned for.
Typical dishes
include Seared tuna salad with dry chilli and lemongrass, Mixed
skewers of chicken with satay peanut sauce, Sea bass fillet in banana
leaves on a cress salad with spicy lime and tamarind, Stir-fried
sirloin beef fillet with ginger, garlic and spicy sauce, Lychee and
lime flavoured cheesecake with lychee & pink ginger jelly.
Prices range
from £6-£12 for starters, £4.50-£5.95 for soups,
£10.50-£18 for curries, £14-£18.50 for grills,
£9-£15.50 for stir-fries and £5-£6.50 for deserts. |
