Retail Ventures Ltd, part of Jamie Oliver's group of companies, which
markets, sells and distributes much of Jamie's food and non-food
products, both in the UK and overseas, is preparing to enter a new
and exciting stage of its development, with the appointment of David
Page as its new Managing Director. He took up the post at the
beginning of April 2007.
David Page's
current role is Group Managing Director of Patak's, the well known
Indian food business. In the nearly 16 years that David has been at
Patak's, the company has expanded rapidly, with the business now
employing around 650 staff and sales approaching £80m per annum.
David has been instrumental in establishing Patak's as the leading
authentic Indian food brand in UK and International markets. Prior to
working at Patak's, he was the UK Managing Director for Campbell's
Soups Ltd.
Fresh Retail
Ventures Ltd, established in 2005, currently markets the Jamie Oliver
Italian range of pasta sauces and antipasti, as well as a selection
of rubs, flavoured sugars, oils and salts, all of which are available
in Sainsbury's. Jamie Oliver's food products are also shortly to be
launched in various major markets within Continental Europe. In
addition, Jamie's branded, non-food products are distributed
worldwide via arrangements with household names such as Tefal, Royal
Worcester and Typhoon.
