New Tiffinbites Restaurant To Open Near St Paul's, London

Indian food group, Tiffinbites, is set for a one million pound spice infusion when it opens its brand new flagship restaurant near St Paul's, central London, in May. A contemporary take on traditional Indian food, Tiffinbites offers real Indian food served the real Indian way, ensuring dining at its new restaurant will be an authentic and memorable experience. And it is evident that there will be as much flavour in the design of the new, ultra-funky restaurant as in Tiffinbites' delectable cuisine.

The fourth London-based restaurant to be opened by Jamal Hirani, CEO & Founder of Tiffinbites, it will be a feast for the senses. Not only will customers enjoy a range of delicious Indian treats inspired by Jamal's mother, but the latest state-of-the-art Tiffinbites will also give diners the chance to absorb an entire culture; Bollywood classics will be shown on screens throughout and the 'tandoori pit' will enable customers to watch the Tiffinbites chefs in action.

Comprised of a bar area, lounge and private dining room upstairs, the combination of plush upholstery, murals and trendy industrial materials such as slate and stainless steel mean the new Tiffinbites restaurant promises to cater for the design-conscious professionals of the St Paul's area as well as the City's Indian connoisseurs.

By day Tiffinbites will reflect the bustling pace of the City and, by night, it will take on an intimate atmosphere - perfect for those hoping to find some calm after a demanding day, groups grabbing some food before a big night out, or couples hoping to spend time together in a seductively atmospheric haven.

And for the lifestyle conscious, Tiffinbites' authentic Indian food is also much healthier than the classic Balti House equivalent: made with fresh spices and cooked using traditional Indian methods, Tiffinbites' cuisine is much lighter than typical Indian food served in the UK - but still as flavoursome. It also has less than ten percent fat, and Jamal's exceptionally high standards when choosing ingredients means that the possibility of unsavoury "curry breath" is reduced - making Tiffinbites an ideal lunchtime snack for those returning to the office, as well as the perfect evening option.

Inspired by authentic Indian 'tiffin boxes', the concept of 200, 000 home-cooked lunches being delivered by 'tiffin wallahs', or packed-lunch boys, to workers and school children across Mumbai, is at the heart of the Tiffinbites brand. By importing the tradition of the 'tiffin' to the St. Paul's area, Jamal hopes to breathe new life into the existing curry house model, which has done little to evolve since the earliest days of Indian food on British shores.

Jamal says: 'Tiffinbites is all about fast, casual, urban dining. The food is healthy and cooked in a traditional way, the service is friendly and the ambience is ideal for a young, modern, cosmopolitan audience.

'I am looking forward to welcoming a whole new group of diners to our new, flagship restaurant and indulging them in the Tiffinbites experience. We will be celebrating the occasion with a range of offers for our customers.'
