Jeena
Timothy, Head of Food at ASK restaurants, has been awarded The Menu
Innovation & Development Award 2009 in the Casual Dining
Restaurant category. The award, which was based on criteria measuring
menu development, choice and food execution in restaurant, was voted
for by a team of mystery diners and judges, who spent six weeks
deciding the winners in each of the 12 categories.
Jeena, who has been with the
chain of Italian restaurants for over just over a year, fought off
stiff competition in her category from runners up Strada and Nandos
at the Award Ceremony which took place last month in London's Park
Lane.
On her recent win, Jeena
comments; "I am delighted to have won such a prestigious
award which not only celebrates menu creation but also recognises the
hard work put into the execution and delivery of the food in the
restaurants. The whole team at ASK have done a great job in turning
my ideas into a reality, creating a customer experience which is
second to none".
Jeena, along with a member from
category sponsor, Bar Foods, will embark on the Menu Innovation
Network`s five day research and insight tour of Chicago in May.
With nearly 120 restaurants
across the UK, ASK serves a delicious menu bursting with a host of
traditional and contemporary Italian dishes. It's the ideal setting
