Laid
back, world music restaurant group giraffe launched their 125ml wine
glasses six months ago to offer better value to cash-strapped customers.
Since this
launch, sales of 125ml wines are outselling 175ml wines by three to
one with sales increasing every week.
Giraffe offer
all wines by the 125ml glass ranging from their 'Happy wine' - an
Acacia Tree, South Africa at £2.65 to the 'Glamorous' - a
'Marmesa Edna Valley', Chardonnay, USA at £4.50

closely with Bibendum Wines, with the focus on great wines from
around the world, with wines from South Africa, Italy, Argentina,
Australia, New Zealand and USA
Giraffe are
focusing on their 'fresh, friendly & fantastic value' ethos
through the menus they are offering, including the popular 'Lunch for
Less' £6.95 for a freshly cooked main course & soft drink
which is selling in excess of 3,000 a week and rising across the group
