Mango Madness

These exotic fruits - the tropics' answer to the apple - are a great source of fibre and beta carotene, which the body converts into vitamin A and is also known for helping to keep eyes, skin and bones healthy. Plus, just half a mango counts as one portion of the recommended five-a-day.

There are astonishingly over 400 varieties of this fruit, which can mainly be found on the Indian sub-continent. The delicious sweet taste of Rubicon Mango is made using the Alphonso variety, known as the 'King of Mangoes'. The demand for Rubicon Mango continues to grow and each year the company produces enough mango juice to fill 10 Olympic-sized swimming pools. By crushing only succulent, hand picked mangoes, Rubicon maximises the flavour and extracts every last drop of this sweet-tasting juice.

Rubicon Mango is available in 1L sharer cartons priced at £1.29 and 288ml individual cartons priced at 55p each. (click here for recipes in PDF format)
