2005 AWARDS
The top ethnic
restaurants in the United Kingdom for 2005 were announced on June
13th at a special awards luncheon at The National Theatre on London's
Southbank. The 13th Best in Britain Awards (BIBA) organised by Menu
Magazine and sponsored by Carlsberg UK, welcomed the top people in
the ethnic restaurant industry to applaud this year's winners which

The awards
were presented by Neil Fraser on behalf of Carlsberg UK who remarked
that Carlsberg have been associated with ethnic restaurant for 75
years and expected to still be there in another 75. Restaurateurs
flew in from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff and even Paris specifically
to join in the BIBA celebration of the best of the ethnic restaurant industry. |
Menu Magazine
editor Peter Grove remarked, "This has been the best yet in the
13 years of these awards. The standards just keep getting better and
this time the public made their opinions known in the hundreds of thousands".
