If you visit the 250 seater restaurant you are still likely to see smiling owner, part-time Bollywood singer and bangra dancer Gulu Anand and, despite recent illness, owner brother Kewal, but you are more likely to be welcomed by son and General Manager Shankar Anand and Assistant Manager daughter Dipna who keeps them all in line. The influence of the new generation can already be seen in the new, smart menus and corporate brochures plus the inclusion of low fat healthier options such that today the famous Brilliant Butter Chicken is still just as tasty but much healthier. We tried a selection of starters. Butter Chicken. Lamb Chops and even a Vegetarian Keema, all prepared in the new, healthier style and the results are exciting. Dipna is brimming with new ideas to keep the restaurant fresh and forward-looking without losing the home feel that has customers going back there again and again.
