Mogul Restaurant Raises Funds Again For Action Against Hunger

Mogul Restaurant in Greenwich raised £701 during last year's Kingfisher World Curry Week. A cheque was presented to Mr Veeranda Rishi, of Kingfisher, and Ms Rachel Owolabi, Corporate Partnership Manager of international humanitarian organisation Action Against Hunger, coordinators of the Restaurants Against Hunger campaign.

Action Against Hunger expressed its thanks to restaurant owners Mr & Mrs Paramjit Dev and all their team at Mogul for their continued energy and support. "Mogul Restaurant has been a wonderful supporter of the campaign. The owners are very committed to charity in their every-day work, and for this we applaud and thank them. Last was no different - we are very grateful for their tireless enthusiasm to help raise much needed funds for our work," remarks Pauline Llorca, Restaurants Against Hunger co-ordinator.

During the week, Mogul's customers were offered a three course meal for five pounds only, including a bottle of Kingfisher. Customers were happy to hear that all proceeds were donated to Action Against Hunger.

"Supporting Action Against Hunger is the perfect opportunity for us to help bring food to hungry children while giving our customers the chance to eat at Mogul for less, thus generating goodwill and loyalty," commented Mrs. Dev, Mogul Restaurant owner.
