Foods Pushes The Button On New Microwave Range |
 |
|
Shazan
Foods, the leading producer of ethnic frozen foods in the UK and
Europe, is satisfying the appetite for quality meals you can
microwave in seconds with the launch of its new Microcook range.
The company,
which specialises in an unrivalled range of authentic, high quality
Halal products made with natural ingredients, has introduced three
different recipes within the Microcook range: Chicken Kebabs, Chicken
Tikka and Lamb Kebabs, available in 110g and 700g sizes.
The range,
which was consumer road-tested and tasted at a recent food
exhibition, is already proving popular, with retailers and
wholesalers all over the UK ordering stocks.
Nadeem Ayyub,
Director of Shazan Foods, said: "Our new Microcook range builds
on the success we have already achieved with our other product lines.
With lifestyles getting more and more hectic, the facility to
microwave a quality dish from frozen in around three minutes - or
just 90 seconds for the Kebabs - is sure to be a hit with consumers.
"The
other benefit of the Microcook range is that you can cook the food in
its own box, saving on the washing up. Plans are already in the
pipeline for further recipes in the range".
The Microcook
range is available from retailers throughout the UK.
Shazan Foods
was established five years ago by Shamin Ayyub, Nadeem's mother, who
started making samosas in her kitchen at home using a traditional
family recipe to sell to local Indian and Asian shops in Preston. The
potential for an exciting new niche business opportunity was soon
clear and further products were introduced including Burgers, Kebabs
and Spring Rolls. The company now employs over 50 people at its
factory in Preston, with seven relatives still involved in the
day-to-day running of the business.
