'Take a Fresh look at your Local Booker'

Booker, the UK's leading cash & carry, has significantly improved its fresh produce range. This means that all fresh fruit and vegetables are now sourced from the local markets and sold at considerably lower prices.

Branded 'Market Fresh,' the range is now larger, fresher and 20 - 30% cheaper. Due to this improved service, customer orders can now be delivered to branches within 24 hours. The produce is available loose or by the case, so customers can buy as much or as little as they need.

"Booker is committed to offering our customers increased choice, reduced prices and an improved service," said Ron Hickey, Director of Catering, Booker. "New, locally sourced produce is a great step forward to our service which provides our caterers with the freshest best quality ingredients at the most competitive price."

Booker will also now be accepting credit card payments at all 172 branches nationwide. This provides customers with more flexibility and an easy payment option.

From 1st April 2006, there are four ways to pay - cash, cheque, debit and credit cards. This forms part of Booker's commitment to choice up, prices down and better service.

"Booker is working hard to improve our service," said Warren Thomson, Sales Director. "We want to make trading with Booker as easy as possible. The new payment method is quick and convenient and I am confident this will be a useful option for our customers."
