Zilli Fish Celebrates 10 Years

 

The flamboyant Soho restaurateur Aldo Zilli is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his restaurant Zilli Fish on Brewer Street in London. Zilli Fish has always offered a new and interesting menu throughout the 10 years, however still serves Aldo's signature dishes such as his infamous Spaghetti Lobster, Teriyaki Black Cod and Grilled Seabass Fillets with Stir Fried Leeks. The Zilli Fish menu is full of succulent dishes made with the freshest of fish which Aldo still purchases every morning at 5am from Billingsgate market.

Zilli Fish has had a major refurbishment in celebration of its 10th birthday and with it has introduced an omega-3 healthy diet menu including dishes such as Whole Baked Mackerel with Rosemary & Garlic served on Green Cabbage, Roasted Cod Fillet with Lentil Broth and Pot of Mussels and Clams in Parsley with Chilli Broth, as well as making some additions to the regular menu that are a must. Another new offering at Zilli Fish is the Zilli Oyster Special which includes six oysters and glass of champagne all for £10 between the hours of 3pm and 7pm daily.

2006 is an important year for Aldo Zilli as he will also be publishing his fourth book on April 27th titled 'Fish Cook', containing 95 of Aldo's best fish recipes. Aldo imparts his lifelong knowledge about fish and explains how to tell if it is fresh, the best cooking methods and simple ways of using ingredients to complement the different fish flavours. There are step-by-step guides to preparing fish and each technique is accompanied by a delicious recipe.
