A range of
new spice blends for poultry, meat and fish has been launched by Bart
Spices and join the existing successful range of speciality blends.
Ras El Hanout
- A blend of 11 spices (including ginger, paprika, allspice and
cardamom), with the addition of rose petals to add a soft, floral
touch. It is perfect for flavouring tagines and couscous dishes or
can be combined with oil and lemon juice to make a marinade for lamb,
chicken and fish.
Baharat
- Inspired by Middle Eastern cooking and contains cinnamon, cayenne
pepper and nutmeg. It is delicious with grilled meat - simply rub in
before cooking. It can also be melted with butter for basting a
roasting chicken.
Jerk
- A hot and spicy blend that is great for classic jerk chicken or to
add a Caribbean twist to a range of meat dishes.
Creole
- Inspired by the flavours of America's Deep South, this blend uses
cayenne to give dishes a piquant and peppery flavour.
Cajun
- This hot chilli blackening spice blend adds an
authentic taste and colour to fish, poultry and potatoes. It's also a
great addition to salsas.
Poultry
- A peppery blend with red and green bell peppers,
garlic, lemon and herbs.
Meat
- A spicy seasoning blend that is suitable for all meats. Use to add
flavour to homemade burgers and a great addition to favourite
barbecue meats.
Fish
- A simple lemon and pepper seasoning that accentuates the natural
taste of all fish.
