Mridul
Kanti Das' Memsaheb on Thames will be hosting a Seafood Festival at
their London Dockland's restaurant from 15 August to 6 September 2008
with food prepared by Guest Chef Manoha Deshapriya, from the renowned
5 star Mount Lavinia in Columbo, Sri Lanka.
Chef
Deshapriya will host the festival on the restaurant's terrace with a
theatre kitchen by the River Thames and fresh fish from the nearby
Billingsgate Market.
Customers
will be able to enjoy a wide variety of seafood from sea bass to
lobster with specially prepared sauces and roasted seasonal vegetables.
"We
are very pleased to be bringing over a chef of the calibre of Manoha Deshapriya,"
says Mridul Kanti Das. "His ability to cook delicious
seafood dishes is exemplary, which is part of the reason why Mount
Lavinia has become such a famed hotel."
