One of
the biggest Indian restaurant groups in the UK, the V8 Gourmet Group,
encompassing such well-known restaurant brands as The Bombay Bicycle
Club Kitchen, Tiffinbites, Vama and Gourmet Creation, has announced
that actress and model Shilpa Shetty and her fiance, entrepreneur Raj
Kundra have acquired a stake in the V8 Gourmet Group.
The
collaboration between the V8 Gourmet Group and Shilpa and Raj have
also announced plans for the launch of 'Shilpa's Gourmet Creations',
a range of premium authentic gourmet meals, chutneys and pickles.
"This
is a great opportunity for the V8 Gourmet Group to expand and focus
on our forthcoming operations, which includes growing the Bombay
Bicycle Club across the UK as well as expanding our Tiffinbites brand
overseas to Europe, Dubai, Jordan and the United States,"
says Arjun Varma, Managing Director at V8 Gourmet.
