BIBA aims to
promote excellence in the ethnic restaurant, food & drink sectors
whilst recognising the great efforts of all parts of the industry.
All winners
receive a certificate for display in their restaurant. These are much
sought after and are displayed by winners with pride.
The BIBA
system is unique as the longest running annual awards ceremony in the
ethnic sector. Also it is an example of the public and experts
working in tandem. Initial nominations and votes come from the public
by phone, post or website and from these the final award winners are
decided by an expert panel led by Menu Magazine editors Peter &
Colleen Grove on a national basis.
