On New
Year's Eve, one of London's favourite Italians, Aldo Zilli and his
wife, Nicky, will host a delicious feast of fish at Zilli Fish.
Traditionally served in Italy on New Year's Eve, the wide range of
fish and seafood will served in every guise.
Diners will be
greeted with a glass of champagne before sitting down to a menu
featuring light, modern cuisine with starters such as fried squid
with sweet chilli sauce or tuna carpaccio. Start the New Year with
revitalised taste buds following one of Aldo's main courses of
Monkfish wrapped in pancetta with sautéed wild mushrooms or
barbequed whole lobster with garlic and chilli butter.
Finish with a
soothing pannacotta topped with strawberries and a mango and
blackcurrant coulis and a cool glass of dessert wine. There is a
delicious selection of piquant Italian cheeses to choose from if you
prefer. As the clock strikes midnight, diners will be presented with
a complementary glass of champagne to see in 2007.
