NEW C.E.O FOR KINGFISHER LAGER, UK

 

 

Damon Swarbrick has joined Kingfisher, the World's No.1 - selling Indian Lager, as Chief Executive Officer of European Operations, based at UBSN's offices in Faversham, Kent.

Damon brings 12 years of experience in the food and drink business, including 4½ years heading up Scottish and Newcastle's Speciality Brands team, to the Kingfisher Lager and Kingfisher Natural Spring Water business.

Damon wasted no time in getting to the 'The British Curry Awards' at The Evolution Centre, Battersea Park, London earlier this month to meet restaurateurs and their staff, suppliers, celebrities and special guests at the prestigious, must-attend event organised by Spice Business Magazine.

Damon said, "I am looking forward to working on this award-winning brand and working with the team to deliver strong plans for 2010 and beyond."

Kingfisher Lager is sold in more than 95 per cent of the UK's 9,000+ licensed Indian restaurants, and is available in 330ml and 660ml bottles, as well as on draught. A 4.8 per cent ABV premium lager, Kingfisher Lager is brewed from the finest quality malted barley and hops. Connoisseurs of fine beer will recognise the clarity of taste and strength of 'character' for which Kingfisher has won international awards.
