New Concept in Southern Italian Dining

Caparossa Convivium Italia, a revolutionary concept in Southern Italian dining at Putney Wharf. Caparossa opened earlier recently and is getting some rave reviews already.

The resataurant is unlike any other "Italian" restaurant you will have visited in the UK and does things the true Italian way! Offering authentic rustic cuisine, served in the main restaurant and at the delicatessen counter, with prices to suit every pocket.

The exciting menu offers traditional Neapolitan dishes such as Paccheri alla Genovese and sharing plates, including pizzette and antipasti with fresh buffalo mozzarella flown in daily from Italy. Ingredients are hand-picked from specially selected farms in the UK and from sources in Italy; ensuring only the tastiest cuts and the freshest produce are served at Caparossa. Quality and taste are paramount, head chef Nicola Buono personally selected 50 parma hams from the Parma region over 6 months ago, these have been cured and are to be brought to Putney! Meat is bought from the best UK supplier and has to be matured for at least 21 days before being served to Caparossa guests.

With over 100 different labels on offer, wines have been carefully selected from 10 different Italian regions and are all stored in a temperature controlled environment, prices range from £12 to £195.

This is not just a business to the Caparossa team, they live and breathe Southern Italy. With over 30 years experience, starting out with the renowned La Fattoria Del Campiglione, (popular with the Naples A-list), their latest venture brings the Southern Italian coast to London! As part of the UK operation, the core team are heavily involved in training young people with a passion to learn the business and embrace this exciting new Mediterranean concept.

Caparossa has a seating capacity for 120; 85 in the interior (both formal and informal seating) and space for 35 in the outside courtyard.

For a true Italian experience please visit Caparossa, 3B The Piazza, 30 Brewhouse Lane, Putney Wharf, London SW15 2JX, e: reservations@caparossa.co.uk.
