Luxury
Comes To Chelsea
One can
only marvel at the dedication and innovation, not to mention money
that must have gone into the creation of a new 'luxury Thai
restaurant' at the Imperial Wharf development. No expense has been
spared and the result is Saran Rom. |
The teak
interior supposedly recreates the banqueting rooms of Bangkok's
Vimanmek Palace and the effect is stunning. The staff are dressed in
bright silks and floral arrangement abound and there are even
tuk-tuks to ferry locals to and from the restaurant to encourage
people to enjoy the Saran Rom experience.

As with most
new restaurants, we have not samplde the fascinating-looking menu
yet, preferring to let the kitchen and front of house staff 'settle
in' a bit and the restaurant's reception at this stage seems to be
mixed. If the food and service manage to live up to the location and
décor then it will be a very welcome addition to the London scene. |
