Simon Jersey Launches New Colour Collection

Simon Jersey, the UK's leading corporate and workwear specialist has launched a new colour collection designed especially for the hospitality industry. The new collection comes as Simon Jersey celebrates its 35th anniversary.

The design team, headed up by Helen Harker, proves that uniforms and corporatewear can look good and feel great by introducing a brand new colour palette - with rich claret acting as the perfect contrast to contemporary beige for an up-to-the-minute style for a successful workforce.

Inspired by fashion but built for comfort, the new 28-page brochure unveiled this month, brings together a corresponding collection of workwear which is guaranteed to transform any working environment, from reception through to kitchen. The new garments also complement the 1,000-plus corporate styles featured in the silver catalogue launched in September, confirming Simon Jersey's position as provider of the largest selection of clothes for people to work in.

There are over fifty new garments featured including a new Liberty Fabric blouse - the Wiltshire leaf and berry pattern was designed for the world-renowned Liberty Store in the 1930s and is now considered a design classic.

New in the kitchen is the latest Mulberry multi-check chefs' drawstring trouser, chefs' cap and short apron. This large check print in mulberry, grey, black and beige looks fantastic with the unisex chefs' jacket, available in grey, black or white.

Front of house, there's many new bar and restaurant essentials to tempt anyone's appetite. The claret stripe men's shirt with semi cutaway collar and women's open collar blouse looks cool and contemporary behind any bar. And the best-selling crinkle sleeveless and mandarin collar blouses are now also available in Mulberry.

There's lots of stylish new looks in suiting - the Qualitas crease-resistant tailoring now comes in grey with a beige pinstripe and in simple and sophisticated deep, rich claret, whilst the classic-wool Premium range has added versatile beige to its collection.

Helen Harker, head of the Simon Jersey design team comments: "Our team is passionate about design and has a policy of welcoming new ideas and new talent. We are constantly developing new fashion-inspired designs, sourcing new colours and testing new fabrics, but we also make sure we research our market place, taking inspiration from some of the UK's top hotels, bars and restaurants and listening to suppliers for evolving fabric trends, so that each season we can produce the best collection that we can."
