There's A Storm Coming In February 2006, Scream Retail Ltd are launching the first pure toffee flavoured vodka onto the UK market. Unequalled and unique, Thunder Toffee Vodka is about stylish simplicity of taste. Free from any additives or preservatives, it is made from triple distilled grain vodka and completely natural toffee syrup. Served cold as a shot, in a cocktail, or simply over ice, Thunder will initially target the style bar sector of the UK's chic party capital, Brighton. A national roll out for the new 29.9% ABV brand is planned for the on-trade and into retail later on this year. We believe there's nothing that tastes, or looks, quite like Thunder Toffee Vodka currently on the market. We have designed the brand to offer discernable premium drinkers a quality product and it's already taking the on-trade in our chosen launch location by storm." Bottled in London at Thames Distillers in a stylish bottle sourced from - appropriately - France, Thunder is the only brand to use a bottle of its kind in the UK. While continuing to penetrate the home French market where Thunder is already successful, the UK launch programme will kick off on the South Coast in Brighton with a fully integrated marketing campaign including a major club sponsorship, ambient marketing in the form of outdoor media, sampling at key style bars and a full scale trade and consumer press advertising and PR roll out.
