3G luxury tubs of Crayfish, Prawns and Kings Prawns

3G Food Service & Seafood Solutions, the specialist distributor of chilled and frozen foods to the food service sector, has introduced three new Luxury products to its Delicatessen range - Crayfish Tails in Brine, Cold Water Prawns in Brine and King Prawns in Brine. These new additions come in easy to use 1.5kg (900g Dwt) round tubs and all three products offer flexible menu options for light snacks or salads, sandwiches, starters and main courses.

The Luxury Crayfish Tails, Cold Water Prawns and King Prawns have been selected specifically for their superior colour, succulent juicy texture and flavour. 3G's Luxury Crayfish Tails in Brine are wild caught and hand peeled. A quick and easy salad can be prepared in advance or assembled at the last minute. The Crayfish Tails in Brine can also be used in dishes like crayfish and tomato penne, the traditional New Orleans gumbo or Parmesan crusted crayfish - as a lighter alternative to deep fried fish in batter.

Harvested from the icy waters of the North Atlantic, the Luxury Cold Water Prawns in Brine are excellent for use in dishes like Thai salad with noodles or Spicy Prawns with Mustard Seeds, in prawn cocktails or as a delicious sandwich filling. The King Prawns in Brine are harvested in South East Asia and are a great menu stand by, again in salads, pasta dishes or sandwich fillings or in dishes like King Prawn and Pepper Kebabs or Fragrant Broth with King Prawns and Ginger.

"These three products will offer 3G customers a wide range of additional menu options," said Alex Brown, Purchasing Director of 3G Food Service & Seafood Solutions. "They just have to drain and rinse the Crayfish tails, Prawns or King Prawns for 20 seconds and serve, or incorporate them in a selection of recipes that can be served with salads, pasta, rice or noodles. The three products come in 1.5kg easy to use re-sealable tubs with a 900g net drained weight and a typical serving of 60g. These new additions to the Delicatessen range are all in brine so there is no wasteful glaze or defrosting time and portion control is simple."

Full details of all products, orders and special offers can be obtained by calling the 3G Customer Service Centre on 0870 850 5213 or by visiting the company's website at www.3gfoodservice.co.uk.
