Whole Wheat Pasta from Barilla Now Available in the UK

 

 

Whole wheat, or Integrale, pasta from Barilla, the world's leading pasta maker, is now available in the UK through 3663.

Barilla has introduced the three most popular pasta shapes in the UK - Fusilli, Spaghetti and Pennette - in 1kg foodservice dry pasta formats. Pack sizes are Spaghetti Integrale 15 x 1kg, Pennette 72 Integrale 9 x 1kg and Fusilli Integrale 9 x 1kg.

According to Barilla, the UK market is responding positively to the move towards higher fibre pasta formats and the Integrale pasta from Barilla is light in colour and texture making it highly acceptable as a mainstream format, whilst delivering all the well-being benefits of a higher fibre pasta. Barilla Whole Wheat pasta also tastes good, unlike ordinary whole wheat pastas, and cooks well producing a good amber colour with the pasta maintaining shape without sticking together.
