Mridula Baljekar's Kitchen Pure & Fresh Range of Spiced Chutneys, Sauces, Jams and Ready Meals

 

 

Mridula Baljekar is synonymous with dynamic and delicious Indian Cuisine. The award-winning cookery writer, past owner of a multi award winning restaurant, reports her 'Pure and Fresh' range, the culmination of almost two years work, have now been launched at 4 London Farmers' Markets.

It all started in her kitchen when she mentioned to a friend that she would love to launch a range of products that were authentic without any additives, and that she would be proud of. Her friend said 'what's stopping you', and Mridula thought what was stopping her!!

The Chutneys are the first products in the range, cooking sauces will follow, then jams, interspersed with fresh ready meals, which will all be traditionally spiced.

All of the fruits in the range of Chutneys have been supplied by Perry Court Farm, Chegworth Valley Farm both in Kent, and Milletts Farm in Oxfordshire, and the tomatoes in the Sweet Tomato Chutney have come from the Leonard Ironside Tomato Nursery also in Kent

Mridula makes the entire range of products herself in her own kitchen with the help of a friend.

We loved the taste of each of the different varieties in a taste test of the new products, and look to a promising future for them, particularly with discerning restaurants and members of the public.
