Using Amoy within Oriental Cuisine enhances the dining experience offered, giving customers the authenticity they demand. 8 out of 10 Chinese Chefs choose Amoy , proving that it is the must-stock range, for the easy creation of great-tasting and truly authentic Oriental dishes".

The fundamentals of Oriental cooking are taste, ease, health and authenticity. Terry Tan, HP Foods development chef explains, "Achieving the perfect balance of flavours is a fundamental concern of Oriental Cuisine. The core Oriental ingredients of soy, oyster, black bean, sweet & sour, plum and hoi sin sauces, together with sesame oil, form an endless combination of interesting tastes and textures. Most Oriental dishes can be made using a wok, which works effectively due to the high heat and the constant movement of the food. This ensures each dish cooks very quickly with a minimum of fuss, whilst retaining maximum taste and texture. Stir-fry is so popular because it fulfils the need of a simple and healthy, yet delicious meal choice. Very little oil is needed in the process, which ensures the essential nutrients of the ingredients are retained. Amoy is truly authentic Oriental with its origins in China dating back to 1908."
