'A gourmet
gastravaganza in a bottle' is the way Carlsberg describe their two
new Jaconsen products in 75cl bottles.
With 140 years
of brewing know-how invested in every glass, Jacobsen Saaz Blonde
(7.1 ABV) and Jacobsen Bramley Wit (4.6 ABV) are brewed according to
Belgian wheat beer tradition but have a very different, very
Scandinavian overlay.
These super
premium beers have ventured from Scandinavian shore for the first
time and are brewed in a special micro brewery and named after
Carlsberg's Danish founder.
Jacobsen
Bramley Wit is an unfiltered wheat beer with discreet bitternes and a
hint of apple whilst the Saaz Blonde is a light, golden dry and
smooth beer with notes of fruit, clover, coriander and angelica root.
Both beers are
best served chilled at 5-7 degrees C and whilst Bramley With is ideal
for spring and summer meals and perhaps Thai dishes or sushi, Saaz
Blonde is ideal for fish, pork, veal or turkey.
The attractive
bottles are available in stockists including selected Sainsbury's and
Morrison's stores at £3.49.
