Each week, one
of the restaurants is eliminated from the competition by top
restaurateur, Raymond Blanc, acting as judge. At the end of the run,
the winners get to run their own restaurant, financially backed and
personally supported by Raymond with a six-figure sum of his own money.
We are looking
for people who are passionate about food and the catering industry,
especially the ethnic sector but who perhaps haven't had the
opportunity or finances to set up their own restaurant. As for the
demographic of our 9 couples, we want to accurately represent the UK;
regionally, socially, ethnically and through culinary specialities.
So for this reason it would be great if people applied who weren't
just interested in producing standard British pub food.
