Café Rasoi in Heathfield,
Sussex is holding another of their modern jazz evenings with ALL
ticket sales going to the Bangladesh Cyclone Appeal. They are teaming
up with another 45 restaurants who are all holding their events on
the 30th Jan, with the Café Rasoi event being the blue riband
finale on the 6th and 7th Feb.
Owner Shah Ahtar is also holding
another cooking demo for another school, this time in the restaurant
itself. That will be held on the 12th February. After campaigning
himself to try and raise the hygiene standards amongst all the local
Indian restaurateurs, the Wealden District Council have asked him to
take on their food hygiene training programme so he can train the
staff and restaurateurs himself.
If this is not enough Ahtar has
opened his third venture - a take-away called Mr India with chain
plans in mind. |
