Take The Helm At Family Business |

Roberts of Port Dinorwic Ltd
has a new team at the helm following the retirement of Wyn Roberts
from the family run business.
Wyn's daughters Sara and Miriam
have taken over the running of company with ambitious plans to build
on the success of the business which was started by their great
grandfather in 1924. Since then it has grown to employ over 80 people
with a turnover in excess of £11.5 million
The company is one of the UK's
leading suppliers of meat products to food manufacturers and a vast
range of prepared meals to a wide customer base including the food
service industry, pub chains, hotel groups and wholesalers.
Commenting on the future plans,
trading director Miriam Roberts, said: "We have a very strong
and committed team and a solid foundation to build on for the future.
Sara and I have identified a number of key priorities for the coming
year and have put strategies into place to achieve these. It is our
aim to provide the best products at the best price and to continue to
innovate and offer great recipe dishes to our customers."
Operations director Sara added: "Our
father is a hard act to follow and has set us the highest standards,
but he taught us well and our aim is to secure the continued growth
of the business and truly delight our customers."
