Inspiration From The Top:
Well Known Chefs Demonstrate In The Culinary Theatre

Adam Gray, Head Chef, Rhodes Twenty Four

Well known chefs will be creating dishes from around the world at this year's Northern Restaurant & Bar.

Michael Riemenschneider, Chef Patron at Juniper will deliver traditional French dishes whilst Adam Gray from Rhodes Twenty Four cooks up a stir with modern British recipes. For a bit more spice Ravi Bajaj from Dilli will be cooking Indian cuisine and for an oriental twist Chumpol Jangprai, Head Chef at Vermillion, uses his skills from the renowned Blue Elephant Thai restaurant group to present Asian Fusion Cuisine with authentic Thai dishes.

"I am very proud to be associated with Northern Restaurant & Bar 2009 as it highlights the best the hospitality industry has to offer. Being part of the show allows me to demonstrate some of the outstanding seasonal British produce we have on offer in this country," said Adam Gray, Head Chef, Rhodes Twenty Four.

The Culinary Theatre has a history of attracting top and Michelin star chefs including Marcus Wareing, Eyck Zimmer, Stephen Smith, Andrew Nutter and Andrew Pern.

Regent Recruitment are the official sponsors of the Culinary Theatre helping source fantastic chefs for this year's show, such as Paul Askew of The London Carriage Works and Matt Nugent, Head of Heathcotes.

"We are delighted to be associated with this year's Culinary Theatre programme which has become renowned for showing off the incredible talent of northern chefs. From our industry contacts and working with the likes of Gordon Ramsey, The Lowry, The Dorchester, Heathcotes and Juniper, we have been able to bring some truly great chefs to this year's exhibition" said Veena Hira, Director, Regent Recruitment.

Top chefs from the Culinary Theatre will work hand in hand with budding students from Trafford College in the Aspire Restaurant to create and serve signature dishes. This always goes down a treat with the visitors and 2009 will be no exception.

Timetables are available at www.northernrestaurantandbar.co.uk with full information on the exhibitors, features and all the other demonstrations taking place throughout the two days.
