The
Bombay Brasserie, one of the world's most iconic restaurants, has
reopened its doors after an extensive refurbishment programme.
To celebrate the occasion, The
Bombay Brasserie joined forces with Tatler magazine to co-host a
star-studded party.
Geordie Greig, editor of Tatler
and Arun Harnal, the restaurant's Director of Operations, welcomed
guests including Sir Bob Geldof and Jeanne Marie; Lucian Freud, Theo
Fennel, Sarah and John Standing, Nicholas Coleridge, Nick Rhodes,
Heather Kerzner, Kate Reardon, Lady Spencer, Jonathan Newhouse,
Andrew Neil, Viscount David Linley, Nobel Prize winning novelist, Sir
V S Naipaul and others.
All were treated to a grand tour
of the incredible new Bombay Brasserie, now larger, airier and more
drop dead gorgeous than ever. They were also given a taster from the
restaurant's delectable new menu, which has been specially created by
the legendary Hemant Oberoi, Corporate Chef for the Taj Group of Hotels.
