Jurys Inn Milton Keynes Appoints Head Chef

 

Jurys Doyle Hotel Group has appointed Krishna Kumar Shankar Head Chef at the newly-built £23 million Jurys Inn which opens in Milton Keynes on 25 August 2006. Originally from Lucknow in India, he brings a rich experience of Indian, Chinese as well as European à la carte cuisine to Milton Keynes.

Krishna will be in charge of a team of 12 preparing meals for the hotel's Innfusion Restaurant, serving contemporary, modern dishes. He and the team will also be making fresh and delicious bar meals throughout the day in the Inntro Bar, while the II Barista Coffee Bar will serve specialty coffees and freshly baked pastries directly from the hotel's ovens.

Krishna says his appointment to the 279 bedroom hotel and conference centre is a very welcome promotion, adding; "I was very happy working as Sous Chef at Jurys Bristol Hotel, but to become Head Chef is a great feeling and I am looking forward to serving some wonderful food in our new restaurant."
