Summer
In The City With Champagne Offer
Summer is
looking good for those working in London's Square Mile, because some
of the best Oriental restaurants in the City are adding sparkle to

Between 1 July
and 8 September, a three-course set menu and half a bottle of
champagne will be just £25 per person, lunch and dinner, Monday
to Friday. Sipping in the sun has never been so tempting at Imperial
City, Royal Exchange, Pacific Oriental at Bishopsgate, Sri Nam at
Canary Wharf, Sri Thai City at Queen Victoria Street, Sri Siam City
at London Wall. The offer is also available at Sri Thai Soho in Old
Compton Street in the West End. Each restaurant has an individual
menu, with three choices for each course.
Dining at
Imperial City from the £25 Summer Chinese menu with champagne
means trying delicacies such as Lobster spring roll with mango
dressing, Imperial crab cake with cucumber and peanut relish, XO
prawns with enoki mushrooms, Iced dragon fruit and summer berry
lollypop. Main courses come with Steamed jasmine rice and Wok fried vegetables.
At Pacific
Oriental guests can cool the hot summer air with Pacific Rim dishes
of Chilled spiced tomato and green mango soup with taro crisps, Tian
of crab and avocado puree scented with chilli oil, Pea and wasabi
risotto with white truffle oil, Salmon teriyaki with pickled
cucumber, and Tropical fruit salad in brandy snap basket, plus half a
bottle of champagne, all for £25 per person.
The taste of
Thailand is on the menu at Sri Nam, Sri Thai City, Sri Siam City and
Sri Thai Soho, with Summer roll with cucumber and peanut dressing,
Panang king prawn curry with green chilli, spicy grilled sirloin with
Thai vegetables and green peppercorns, and Lime crème brulee.
Main courses are served with Coconut scented rice and Wok-fried
vegetables. Also at £25 including half a bottle of champagne per person.
