Dubai: The Latest Gastro Destination

 

 

Dubai is now a gastro-destination showcasing a wealth of culinary delights for travellers with a discerning palette. And there is no better place to tempt your taste buds than at two of Dubai's premier hotels; Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort + Spa, situated on the golden sands of the Jumeira Strip, and Grosvenor House, located in the exclusive Dubai Marina.

* Celebrating fresh ingredients sourced from the UK and Europe, the menu showcases dishes such poached seabass, wild mushroom ravioli and old-fashioned blackberry trifle.

* Ottomans: for a taste of an authentic, traditional Middle Eastern meal, Ottomans is a rich and mystical restaurant which creates a multi-flavoured journey, mixing the influences of the old Turkish tradition with rich flavours of the Mediterranean Sea. One dish to look out for is the famous Turkish méze made with eggplant, green lentils, tomato and cacik - delicious!

* Indego: a contemporary Indian restaurant spearheaded by Michelin-starred chef Vineet Bhatia. From the delicious Marbled Chocolate samosa with chocolate and fresh berry rabdi, to the fresh lobster with spicy marsala sauce with mushrooms, Vineet's passion for the exotic is evident.

* Sloane's: a bustling restaurant with show kitchens where chefs prepare daily specials 'a la minute'.

* Buddha Bar: renowned globally for its unique food, eclectic atmosphere and chilled sounds.
