Indian Cricketers And Bollywood Stars Bowled Over By Whyte & Mackay

Whyte & Mackay was the Scotch whisky of choice for the Indian glitterati as the brand supported a charity event to raise money for the British Asian Trust held on Monday (6 July 2009) at Lord's Cricket Ground, London.

The whisky company served bespoke cocktails at an exclusive reception held immediately after an exhibition cricket match between the Rajasthan Royals, the inaugural Champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), and the Twenty20 Cup Champions, the Middlesex Panthers.

Rajasthan Royals comfortably defeated Middlesex by 46 runs in the British Asian Cup thanks to Hampshire and England player, Dimitri Mascarenha.

Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty cheered on her team the Rajasthan Royals. The match was a double bonanza for the cricket fans with a line up on international cricketers playing together.
