Acclaimed Italian Wins An SLTN Award

Italian restaurant, La Parmigiana, has won the SLTN Catering Award for the Best Restaurant Under £35. The recently refurbished restaurant, which was established in 1978, has long been one of Glasgow's favourite Italian eateries and its popularity amongst Glasgow's Italian community is testimony to the authenticity of its cuisine. Owner, Sandro Giovanazzi, who has been in the industry for nearly thirty years, commented:

"We are delighted that La Parmigiana has won this SLTN Catering Award. This achievement is a great recognition of our high standards and quality of service at the restaurant."

Launched in 2004, the SLTN Catering Awards promote and reward excellence throughout the Scottish Catering and Hospitality Industry. La Parmigiana has also been listed in the Michelin, Good Food and the AA restaurant guides and is one of Glasgow's finest Italian restaurants, providing a cosmopolitan Continental atmosphere. The restaurant has become renowned for inventive dishes with favourites including seafood, veal and game dishes, which help to demonstrate Sandro's Mediterranean influences and expert knowledge of the Scottish hunting season.
