Four
New Chefs Confirmed For Toast
Shane
Osbourne of Pied a Terre, David Thompson of Hahm, Brett Graham of The
Ledbury and Nic Watt of Roka are just some of the world-famous chefs
now confirmed for Toast - the largest Australasian food festival in
the northern hemisphere taking place in Regents Park on 15th and 16th
July. They will join the likes of John Torode and Bill Granger for
this gourmet extravaganza.
The all new
'Toast' is re-launching this July to create the largest Australasian
food festival in the northern hemisphere, along with a line-up of top
entertainers including Dave Dobbyn, Hayley Westenra, Roy & HG and
Paul Kelly.
Toast 2006
moves to the royal venue of Regent's Park on 15&16th July.
Alongside the great entertainment, Toast will bring together the
highest profile antipodean restaurants and chefs, such as Bill
Granger and John Torode, to create the country's most prestigious
celebration of New Zealand and Australian culinary talent.
Toast 2006
sees the introduction of 'Taste of Australasia' - the largest
antipodean dining experience seen in the UK.
'Taste of
Australasia' will gather around 12 of New Zealand and Australia's top
chef's (from fine London restaurants and abroad) serving a selection
of signature dishes.
Taste the
delicacies of Bill Granger (Australian Celebrity Chef), John Torode
(Smiths of Smithfield & Masterchef Goes Large), Suze in Mayfair
plus many more. Also, hear from leading food writer and critic Jill
Dupleix (The Times, delicious.).

This leading
cuisine will be complemented by fine wine and an incredible line-up
of entertainment! Kiwi diva Hayley Westenra will kick off 'Classics
in the Park' and will be followed by the dulcet tones of Kiwi legend
Dave Dobbyn at Toast New Zealand. Toast Australia will continue the
superb sounds, with Aussie icon Paul Kelly and international comedy
duo Roy and HG.
Exciting
interactive features will also add to the visitor experience,
including the new chef's demonstration stage which will showcase the
events culinary talent, Wines of Australia Wine Appreciation Theatres
and The Sunday Times Travel Theatre.
All entry
tickets to Toast include £10 worth of restaurant currency, to
give all visitors the opportunity to sample the gourmet delicacies.
Also, accommodating the high calibre of visitors, there will be a VIP
experience available with exclusive entertainment performances and
complimentary food and wine included in the price of the ticket.
Tickets for
this year's event will be strictly limited, with fewer available than
previous years.
