Summer On A Plate At
Spaghetti House

Taste the delicious flavours of an Italian summer right here in the heart of London, when you dine at Spaghetti House, the favourite Italian restaurant group which introduces its new menu at the end of June.

In true Italian style, you can feast on several Sharing Dishes from the new menu, perfect to enjoy with friends over a glass of wine, sitting at many of the restaurants' alfresco tables. Head for Bloomsbury's Sicilian Avenue in WC1, a hidden jewel of Italian inspiration, where Spaghetti House, with its much sought-after covered terrace, is the focal point of this pedestrian walk. Leave the hustle and bustle behind and share Schiacciata all'Aglio - pizza bread brushed with tomato, garlic and rosemary at £3.95, or a platter of Affettato all'Italiana - a selection of cured meats at £11.90 for two, just some of the many sharing choices.

Go for the new Summer Salads, simple yet satisfying, such as Smoked Salmon with Avocado and Rucola at £8.25 or choose Anitra Affumicata - oak smoked duck breast with red onion jam at £6.95 from the new Antipasti section. Famous for its pasta dishes - filled, baked or freshly cooked and tossed in a variety of home-made sauces - Spaghetti House blends the traditional with the modern, from Tagliatelle Alfredo, the classic Roman dish with cream, garlic and parmesan, to Lobster Spaghetti, available as a special according to market availability.

Gorgeous stone-baked pizzas are equally popular, as are the main courses of Ippoglosso - Roasted Halibut with salsa verde at £14.00 or the Scaloppa Milanese, slow-fried, breadcrumbed veal escalope with sauté potatoes at £13.25. For dessert, irresistible is the Panna Cotta at £4.95, that favourite Italian dessert, with a shot of Limoncello liqueur to capture all the essence of summer. Spaghetti House have also re-introduced the classic and rather special Zabaglione, whisked fluffy egg yolks with sugar and Marsala wine at £9.75 for two. Only first-class, fresh ingredients are used in the kitchen, to produce genuine, high quality dishes.

CHILDREN AT SPAGHETTI HOUSE

In Italy, it is traditional for children to choose their meal from the 'grown-ups menu'. Spaghetti House encourages this habit here in London too, so that children can eat more healthily, whilst developing their taste and their eating experience. For summer, a key time for children to eat out with the family, Spaghetti House have selected mouth-watering dishes from the main menu, re-proposed in smaller portions in their Menu per Bambini for children under 10, and offered at £5.00 for two courses, £7.50 for three.

Spaghetti House restaurants are at Woodstock Street, Bond St, W1, Goodge Street Fitzrovia W1, Bryanston Street near Marble Arch W1, Haymarket SW1, Knightsbridge SW1, Sicilian Avenue Holborn WC1, St Martin's Lane WC2, Duke Street W1, Cranbourn Street near Leicester Square WC2 and Bressenden Place Victoria SW1.
