winning chef Chad Rahman has fully opened his new concept restaurant Chez
Mumtaj after many weeks shaking down the kitchen team to achieve
the very best for this fine dining concept.
The new 100
seater restaurant in St Albans, home of his successful Mumtaj, offers
unashamed luxury in both décor and food.
Enjoyment
starts at the Saffron, a tapas style bar/lounge and
moves into the comfortable dining area and reminds one more of a
gentleman's club with a theatre style kitchen. 30% of the compact
menu are French dishes with the remainder being from all over Asia,
calling for a high level of experise from the kitchen. All dishes are
plated and an effort is made to showcase British ingredients.
