Don't

year, one of the industry's most highly acclaimed competitions, Young
Chef Young Waiter, has released its 2008 entry forms - available to
download NOW from www.bha.org.uk/ycyw.

and Restaurant Magazine have once again backed the competition, along
with new sponsors for 2008, Champagne Besserat de Bellafon,
S.Pellegrino and Wild Harvest, in recognition of the valuable
contribution it brings to promoting and developing the industry.
Open to all
passionate and professional chefs and waiters aged 25 and under, the
competition offers some exclusive prizes, the chance to compete
against some of the industry's brightest young talent and, best of
all, the opportunity to gain the essential industry recognition and
respect needed to succeed.
The event
will see some impressive industry names on hand to judge the
competition and offer guidance, as well as personal feedback on
performance. Returning as Chair of the Chef Judges is Bruce Poole of
Chez Bruce, and new to the role of Chair of Waiter Judges is Stephen
Mannock of Darlington College, who has been actively involved in the
competition for a number of years. As always, education is the focus
of the competition and all competitors will return to the kitchen or
front of house with enhanced industry knowledge, skills and confidence.
