The new
Eat Out Eat Well campaign was launched on 19th June at the Lakeside
Restaurant of University of Surrey amidst great interest.
The 'eat out eat well award' is a
Surrey wide FREE award scheme for caterers funded by Surrey County
Council and the Department of Health - South East, and managed by
Surrey County Council Trading Standards Service in association with
our main partners Environmental Health.
Initially, for the first year,
the award will be piloted in Elmbridge Borough Council, Guildford
Borough Council, and Spelthorne Borough Council, then eventually
rolled out to the rest of the county.
The award has been developed to
reward caterers throughout Surrey who make it easier for their
customers to make healthier choices when eating out.
