Rare Vintage Sakes On Offer

Isake have always been at the style forefront and very innovative in their approach to specialist sakes.

This is why this year they are introducing, for the first time outside Japan, some rare vintage sakés, up to 1985, but are also launching their own brand sake, Isake Premium. It is a unique 'Cuvée', made from Gohyakumangoku rice carefully selected from Japan. They asked for a higher rice milling rate than a normal Futsuu (65% remaining instead of the usual 98%).

Normally, Premium saké is aged for 3 to 6 months, but for Isaké, our Premium had been aged 10 months, at low temperature, to give a rounder finish.

The unique "Manga" label has been designed by Shun Matsuzaka, a young Japanese artiste, to reflect the fact that it is a unique sake developed around the idea to blend tradition and modernity.
